In Parallel integrates directly with Microsoft Teams so you can launch Teams meetings, sync calendar events, and access collaborative notes and AI summaries — all within your workflow.
Our Teams integration enables you to:
Schedule Teams meetings from In Parallel.
Launch Teams calls directly from your meeting pages.
Save recordings, transcripts, and meeting artifacts into your In Parallel workspace.
Automatically generate summaries and action items after the call.
This integration is supported and available through the Microsoft Teams App Store.
How to Connect In Parallel to Microsoft Teams
Visit the Microsoft Teams App Store.
Search for In Parallel.
Click Add and authorize the app for your Teams account or organization.
Once authorized, Teams will be connected to your In Parallel workspace.
⚠️ Admin permissions may be required depending on your organization’s Teams policies.
Using Teams in In Parallel
Schedule a Microsoft Teams Meeting
In In Parallel, open or create a meeting.
Click Add Video Call.
Select Microsoft Teams.
In Parallel schedules the Teams meeting and saves the meeting link.
Start the Teams Call
Click the Teams link in In Parallel.
Microsoft Teams (app or web) will open and join the meeting.
After the Meeting
After your Teams call, In Parallel will:
Pull available recordings and transcripts (if enabled).
Generate meeting summaries and action items.
Attach Teams artifacts to the meeting page.
Permissions Required
To use the Teams integration, In Parallel needs permissions to:
View and manage calendars and meetings.
Launch Teams meetings.
Access recordings and transcripts (if enabled).
You’ll be prompted to grant these when installing the app.
Troubleshooting
Teams Button Doesn’t Appear
Make sure the In Parallel Teams app is installed and authorized.
Sign into the correct Microsoft account.
Refresh In Parallel.
Meetings Don’t Sync
Check that Teams credentials haven’t expired.
Reconnect Teams in In Parallel under Settings → Integrations.
Recordings or Transcripts Not Showing
Ensure cloud recording and transcription are enabled in Teams.
Verify appropriate account permissions.
