Connect a recurring meeting to your Execution Scope
Connect a recurring meeting so the Transcriber can join, capture execution signals, and keep your scope's Living Execution Plan current after every session.
Before you start
You need an In Parallel account with your calendar connected. Meetings from your calendar appear automatically in the Meetings section of your Personal Dashboard.
You need at least one Execution Scope set up. See Create an Execution Scope.
Connect a meeting to an Execution Scope
Connecting a meeting links it to a specific scope so In Parallel knows which plan to update after each session. This creates a Routine — In Parallel's structure for tracking context across every occurrence of this recurring meeting. Each session is a Routine Cycle, and context compounds across cycles: the pre-read for each meeting draws on what happened in previous ones.
1. Open the meeting
Go to Meetings in your Personal Dashboard or in your Execution Scope. Click the meeting you want to connect.
2. Open the options menu
In the meeting header, click the ... button.
3. Select Change team
Click Change team. A submenu lists all your Execution Scopes. The scope currently connected to this meeting has a checkmark.
4. Select your Execution Scope
Click the scope you want this meeting connected to. The meeting now appears in that scope's Meetings section and will be included in the scope's Active routines.
Enable or disable the Transcriber
The Capture actions toggle controls whether the Transcriber joins the meeting. When it's ON, the Transcriber joins automatically and captures execution signals — decisions, actions, risks, and ownership changes — that feed into the scope's Living Execution Plan.
1. Open the Meetings section for your Execution Scope
In the left nav, select your scope and click Meetings. Upcoming meetings appear as cards below the Active routines section.
2. Toggle Capture actions
The Capture actions toggle appears on each upcoming meeting card. Switch it ON to enable the Transcriber for that session, or OFF to disable it. The toggle is also available in the meeting detail header after you click into the meeting.
Note: Make sure meeting participants know the Transcriber will be joining. Use the Meeting summary as the shared output — not the raw transcript.
Configure the meeting routine (optional)
Each connected meeting has a routine that controls how In Parallel prepares for and processes the session. To configure it, click ... → View routine, then click Edit routine.
From the routine settings you can:
Set the routine type (Daily Standup, Weekly 1:1, Workshop, Ops Weekly, Weekly Project Status)
Configure the Before meeting activation time — how far in advance In Parallel prepares the pre-read
Edit the Agenda template that gets shared with participants before each session
