Home is your personal starting point in In Parallel. It opens as a Chat window where you can ask a question, add context, or choose a suggested action.
Ask from Home
Enter a request in Ask anything.
Use Add context when the request should focus on a particular Workspace, Topic, or document.
Send the request, then follow source links before relying on an important claim.
Useful starting requests include:
“What needs my attention today?”
“Which two items need a decision first?”
“Prepare me for my first meeting next week.”
“Run a drift report for the Quartz Project Workspace.”
When a question is too broad, add one Workspace or Topic and ask again.
Use a suggested action
Home can show suggested actions beneath the composer, including Morning briefing, Triage decisions, and Drift report. Select one to start that request in Chat.
Home can also show a shortcut when a new notification or scheduled output is ready. Opening that item is separate from starting a new Chat request.
Check the answer
Chat uses only context you are allowed to access.
Added context narrows the request; it does not make generated text authoritative.
Open source links when you need the full wording, owner, state, or history behind a claim.
Ask a focused follow-up when the answer combines unrelated Workspaces or time periods.
Home, Workspace briefings, and contextual Chat
Surface | Best for | Context |
Home | Starting a personal Chat or choosing a suggested action | Your accessible context plus anything you add |
Workspace briefing | Understanding one Workspace's current situation | The open Workspace |
Ask | Asking about the Workspace or page already on screen | The visible page and its Workspace |
Home is personal to you. A Workspace briefing is shared context for the team.
