Integrations connect In Parallel to the calendars, meeting platforms, notification tools, and AI clients you already use.
Current personal integrations
Integration | What it does |
Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar | Makes calendar meetings available to In Parallel and supports Recorder joining rules. |
Meeting Recorder settings | Controls automatic joining for internal and external meetings. |
Slack | Delivers personal In Parallel notifications after the Slack app is installed and your personal connection is authorized. |
Microsoft Teams | Delivers personal notifications through the In Parallel Teams app. |
Zoom | Lets the Recorder join supported Zoom meetings on your behalf. |
MCP connectors | Lets supported AI clients retrieve and work with authorized In Parallel context. |
Preferred AI client | Chooses which supported client opens for prepared AI handovers, or asks each time. |
Available connections and labels may vary by account and rollout stage.
What to connect first
For a typical new account:
Connect the calendar that contains your work meetings.
Review the internal and external Recorder joining rules.
Connect Slack or Teams if you want notifications there.
Connect Zoom if relevant meetings use Zoom.
Set up an MCP connector if you want to use In Parallel context from another AI client.
You do not need every integration to use In Parallel. Connect only the tools that support your actual workflow and your organization's policies.
Access and control
An integration does not remove Workspace access controls. In Parallel and connected AI clients should only expose context you are authorized to access.
Calendar and meeting capture can involve other people. Make sure your automatic Recorder settings match your organization's consent, privacy, and recording requirements.
Integrations do not replace your delivery tools
Keep detailed delivery work in the system that manages it. In Parallel is most useful for shared context: what matters, what changed, who owns the next step, which risks are developing, and why a decision was made.
