Personal Integrations settings control meeting capture, notification delivery, and connections to supported AI clients.
Open Integrations
Open your user menu in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
In Personal Settings, select Integrations.
Connections belong to your personal account unless the screen explicitly says that an app is installed for the Company or a Workspace.
Connect a calendar
Under Calendar, select Connect next to:
Google Calendar, or
Outlook Calendar.
Authorize access with the account whose meetings you want In Parallel to see. The connected provider shows Connected and offers Disconnect.
You can connect the provider that matches your working calendar. If both are relevant to your account, follow the options shown on screen rather than assuming one connection replaces the other.
Set automatic Recorder behavior
Under Meeting Recorder settings, use the switches for:
Internal — everyone invited has an email address in one of your organization's listed domains;
External — at least one invitee is outside those domains.
These switches control automatic joining rules. You can also review the Recorder status on individual meetings. Consider participant expectations and your organization's recording policy before enabling automatic capture.
Connect notification tools
Slack
If the In Parallel Slack app is already installed, the screen shows the installed workspace. Select Connect notifications to authorize personal notifications.
If the Slack app is not installed, ask the appropriate Slack administrator to install it first.
When both steps are complete, the integration shows that Slack is installed to the In Parallel Workspace and that personal notifications are enabled.
Personal Slack notifications are separate from updates posted to a Workspace channel. Workspace Owners configure channel connections and delivery under that Workspace's settings.
Microsoft Teams
Workspace Owners can connect an allowed Microsoft Teams channel under that Workspace's Integrations settings. When Teams is connected and allowed, Microsoft Teams can appear as a Workspace delivery method for briefings and recaps under Notifications.

Connect Zoom
Under Zoom, select Connect and authorize the integration. The Zoom connection lets the Recorder join supported Zoom meetings on your behalf. Without it, external Zoom meetings may not be recordable.
Connect an AI client over MCP
Under MCP connectors, select Setup instructions for the client you use. Depending on your account, the available clients can include:
ChatGPT;
Claude on the web;
Claude Code;
Claude Desktop;
Codex;
Cursor;
Perplexity.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is supported through the In Parallel Marketplace agent rather than this personal connector list. See Using In Parallel with Microsoft 365 Copilot. GitHub Copilot is a separate product; do not use the Microsoft 365 Copilot instructions for it.
Follow the client-specific instructions. The connection must still respect your In Parallel access; it does not give an AI client access to Workspaces you cannot open.
Choose a preferred AI client
Under Preferred AI client for Send to AI, choose a client or leave Always ask selected. This preference controls what opens when a supported surface hands prepared context to an external AI client.
The setting still uses the earlier label Send to AI. In current primary product surfaces, the equivalent action is usually labeled Run with AI.
