Use these checks when a Workspace brief does not arrive, contains unrelated information, or reaches the wrong audience. The personal Daily Digest has separate settings.
A Workspace brief does not arrive
Open Settings → [Workspace] → Notifications and find Briefs.
Check the Daily and Weekly switches and the scheduled day and time where shown.
Check the output length and the intended delivery method.
Review Delivery to you for your copy and Delivery to workspace for the shared copy.
Check your timezone under Settings → Account → General.
A schedule can be enabled without the delivery method you expected. If the controls are greyed out, ask a Workspace Owner or a Company admin to change them.
The brief appears in In Parallel but not in Slack or Teams
Open Settings → [Workspace] → Meetings & channels and check Workspace channels.
Confirm the intended channel is connected.
Turn on Deliver briefs to channels. The switch appears once a channel is mapped. If a warning says channel delivery is turned off, turn on the delivery switch you need.
Return to Notifications and check that Daily or Weekly is on.
Reading channel messages does not enable posting: Capture observations from channels and Deliver briefs to channels are separate switches.
The personal Daily Digest or its notification is missing
Open Settings → Account → Notifications and find Daily digest.
Delivery time sets the hour, in your local time, when the digest is generated.
Digest ready notification controls the in-app notification for when the digest is ready.
Check which of those you expected. Changing a Workspace's brief schedule does not change your personal Daily Digest generation time.
I am a member and a Workspace brief does not reach me
Open Settings → Account → Notifications and find Workspace briefs you receive.
Check that the Workspace shows Delivered to you. If it shows Not delivered to you, turn its switch on.
Check where the brief reaches you: the Workspace default, or Email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams. Slack and Microsoft Teams appear once they are connected.
Check Brief ready notification if you expected an in-app notification.
A Workspace you own does not appear in this list. As the Owner, set your own copy under Delivery to you on the Workspace's Briefs card.
The brief contains unrelated or outdated information
Open the source links and check that meetings, pages, and Background documents belong to the intended Workspace. Review the meeting's Notes and Transcript when a detail is uncertain.
Review proposed updates under the meeting's Actions → Workspace updates before publishing them. Confirm the destination, dates, owners, and decisions.
If unrelated teams or responsibilities are mixed together, use more focused Workspaces. Keep the source context current instead of repeatedly rewriting each brief.
Too many copies arrive
Check both the daily and weekly schedules on the Briefs card. Review personal delivery, Workspace delivery, and connected-channel delivery together, then turn off the copies you do not need.
The wrong audience receives an update
Turn off Delivery to workspace or Deliver briefs to channels as needed, then review the Workspace members and channel membership. Channel members can see posted content even when the channel and Workspace member lists differ.
Use Delivery to you for your own copy and select shared delivery only for the intended audience.
I cannot find separate recap or template settings
The current Workspace notification screen uses the Briefs card for schedule, length, and delivery. Follow those controls. Earlier instructions describing separate briefing and recap cards or Edit template do not match this screen.
Still stuck?
Contact In Parallel support with the Workspace, expected delivery time and timezone, and delivery method. Include whether the brief appears in the product and which destination is missing it.
