Manage your personal settings
Control your own notifications, connected tools, and interface preferences — these settings apply only to your account, not to your whole Workspace.
Open Personal settings
Open Settings, then select Personal in the left settings navigation. Personal settings are organized into three tabs: Notifications, Integrations, and Preferences.
Set your notification preferences
The Notifications tab controls when and how your meeting briefs and notes reach you.
1. Open the Notifications tab
Notifications is the default tab when you open Personal settings.
2. Choose your delivery preferences
Under Delivery preferences, use the Meeting notes toggle to turn delivery on or off. For meetings you organize, set who receives the notes and the delivery method (for example, Email). For meetings you only participate in, choose whether the notes are delivered to you.
Connect your personal tools
The Integrations tab connects your own calendar and accounts so In Parallel can join and summarize your meetings.
1. Open the Integrations tab
Select Integrations. You'll see cards for your calendar, Gmail, and meeting recorder settings, each showing whether it's connected.
2. Connect or disconnect a tool
Use the Connect button on a tool that isn't linked yet, or Disconnect to unlink one. Meeting recorder toggles let you control recording for internal and external meetings.
Note: For step-by-step connection help, see Integrations.
Set your language, timezone, and theme
The Preferences tab holds your personal display settings: Timezone, Language, and Theme (Appearance).
1. Open the Preferences tab
Select Preferences. Under Personal Details you'll find Timezone and Language; under Appearance you'll find Theme.
2. Change your interface language
In Parallel supports 14 languages. Open the Language dropdown and pick the one you want — the interface updates to your choice.
Note: When you sign in for the first time, In Parallel auto-detects your language from your browser. You can override it here at any time.
3. Adjust your timezone and theme
Set your Timezone so meeting times and Digests show in your local time, and choose a Theme (such as Light or Dark) under Appearance.
