Manage your Workspace settings

Written by Topi Järvinen

Workspace settings control its identity, access, pages, connected sources, notifications, and glossary.

Before you start

You need Owner access to change Workspace settings. Some controls may be read-only for Members.

Open Workspace settings

  1. Open your user menu and select Settings.

  2. Choose the Workspace in the left settings navigation.

The current Workspace settings tabs are:

  • General

  • Members

  • Pages

  • Integrations

  • Notifications

  • Glossary

General

Use General to review or change the Workspace's type, parent, appearance, purpose, and restricted-access setting. The Parent field places the Workspace beneath another Workspace in the navigation hierarchy.

The Danger zone includes Workspace deletion. Deletion is permanent; confirm the Workspace and retention requirements before using it.

Members

The Access section lists the people who can open the Workspace, with their Owner or Member role and email. Use Add member to grant access, the role control to change responsibility, and Remove to revoke Workspace access.

Pages

Use Pages to:

  • create a typed or blank page;

  • browse installed page types;

  • view, reorder, and nest the page tree under Structure;

  • request Recompile for supported typed pages;

  • open Archived pages;

  • upload source files under Background documents.

Integrations

Workspace Integrations contains:

  • Topic subscriptions that map already-shared meetings into the Workspace;

  • Slack and Microsoft Teams Workspace channels;

  • channel delivery switches for meeting notes, briefings, and meeting-start reminders;

  • Observation kinds used for structured signals and Work items.

Topic subscriptions do not pull in private, unshared meetings.

Notifications

Configure the forward-looking Workspace briefing and backward-looking recap separately. Each supports daily or weekly schedules, personal and Workspace delivery, and an editable template.

Glossary

Use the Workspace glossary for names, terms, and jargon that should improve transcription accuracy in this Workspace. Company-level terms apply across all Workspaces.
