Topics connect related movement across meetings and Workspaces. Instead of showing a flat list of mentions, a Topic groups the current storylines, their status, and the source-linked events that moved each storyline forward.

From Home, select Topics → under Browse when that shortcut is available. Some accounts also show a Topics entry in the navigation; open Trending topics there.

The Trending topics view summarizes the last 30 days. Use its controls to:

The Moved this week band highlights up to four Topics whose storylines advanced during the last seven days. It shows the movement date, Topic, lead thread, and open-work signals.

In Rows, the default sort groups Needs attention above Other topics. Each row can show the Topic's classification, meeting count and change, lead thread, open work, last movement date, and favourite control. When the list is longer, select Show all topics to expand it.

Select a Topic to open its detail view. The page shows one or more storylines, each with:

Read the summary to understand the direction of travel, then open the source links before acting on an important decision, risk, or commitment.

The Topic header also provides the editable title, classification, favourite control, Topic actions, and a Run with [preferred client] handoff, such as Run with Claude. Select the classification when the AI has put a Topic in the wrong type. Meeting-type Topics keep their fixed classification.

Each dated storyline event can include a View link to its supporting observation or meeting. At the bottom of the Topic, expand Meetings (N) to see the recorded meetings that carry the Topic, newest first.

The list is limited to meetings you are allowed to open. If a consequential claim is not supported by the visible source links, verify it with the meeting owner before acting.

Storylines can move through these statuses:

Use the status control beside a storyline when the current state no longer reflects reality. Changing a status helps people interpret the Topic; it does not edit the source observations behind it.

Select the flag beside a storyline when its maintained summary gets something wrong. In What does this get wrong?, describe the specific error, then select Save.

The correction note is visible to everyone who can see the Topic. It remains attached until a later Topic update rewrites the storyline to satisfy the correction. A correction steers the maintained storyline; it does not change the underlying meeting or observation.

Use Add to favourites to mark a Topic for your own account.

Select the Topic's current classification when it belongs under another type. If another Topic already uses the same name in the destination classification, In Parallel offers a merge instead of creating a collision.

Open Topic actions to:

Merge candidates can have a different classification. Review the destination carefully: the Topic you merge into survives and keeps its classification, while the source Topic is consolidated into it. Hiding is not the same as deleting the source meetings or observations.

Select Run with [preferred client]—shown as Run with Claude when Claude is selected—when you want to continue from the Topic's maintained storyline and supporting context in an AI workflow.

Ask the receiving tool to preserve source links when it produces a decision brief, risk review, or stakeholder update. A generated answer can still compress or misread the evidence.
