Workspace notifications provide two complementary views:
Briefing — forward-looking: what needs attention next.
Recap — backward-looking: what changed.
Each can have its own daily or weekly schedule, delivery methods, and content template.
Before you start
You need Owner access to the Workspace whose notification settings you want to change.
Open the settings
Open your user menu and select Settings.
Choose the Workspace in the settings navigation.
Open Notifications.
The Briefings and recaps section contains separate cards for the Workspace briefing and recap.
Configure the Workspace briefing
Turn Daily on or off and choose its time.
Turn Weekly on or off and choose its day and time.
Under Delivery to you, choose your personal delivery methods.
Under Delivery to workspace, choose whether and how to send a copy to Workspace members.
Available methods can include email, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, depending on the integrations connected and allowed for your organization.
Use the briefing when people need a forward-looking view of priorities, risks, decisions, and work that needs attention.
Configure the Workspace recap
Set the recap's daily or weekly schedule and delivery methods independently from the briefing.
Use the recap when people need a backward-looking summary of meaningful changes since the previous update.
The delivered recap may be titled your daily or weekly close. This label appears in the email or channel message; the scheduling controls remain under Briefings and recaps.
Edit a template
Select Edit template on the briefing or recap card. Adjust the instructions for that output, then select Save.
Use Reset to default to restore the product template. Keep the instructions focused on audience, emphasis, length, and presentation; do not paste sensitive source content into the template.
Configure Workspace channels
Connect allowed Slack or Microsoft Teams channels under Settings → [Workspace] → Integrations. Then return to Notifications and use Delivery to workspace on the briefing or recap card to select a connected delivery method.
The integration connection determines which delivery methods are available. The selection on each briefing or recap card determines whether that output is sent there. Channel delivery can make content visible to everyone in the connected channel, so review its membership and the Workspace's confidentiality before enabling it.
Personal Daily Digest
Your personal Daily digest is separate from Workspace briefings and recaps. Configure it under Settings → Personal → Notifications.
